Curve is a consulting company that provides in-house legal counsel services to businesses, operating under specific legal frameworks in Singapore and the UK that allow us to help companies manage their legal needs.
As in-house legal counsel, we can assist with many day-to-day legal matters that businesses face, such as reviewing and drafting commercial contracts, advising on corporate governance, managing compliance requirements, and providing legal guidance on business decisions. We work as part of your team, just like an internal legal department would.
However, there are certain activities that only law firms can perform. We cannot represent you in court, appear at regulatory hearings, or provide services that are reserved for qualified solicitors and advocates. This includes filing court documents, conducting litigation, handling real estate transfers, or providing notary services. When these services are needed, we can help coordinate with external law firms while continuing to manage your other legal matters.
Think of us as your internal legal department if you don't have one or as an extension of your existing legal team if you do. We provide practical legal guidance for your business operations, working seamlessly with your team while operating within clear regulatory boundaries that distinguish our services from those of a traditional law firm.
Our goal is to provide cost-effective, business-focused legal support while maintaining full compliance with legal services regulations in both Singapore and the UK. When matters arise that require the services of a law firm, we'll be upfront about this and help you manage the process effectively.
